American Dream
There are many variations of the American Dream, the main reason there are so many variations of the dream is because each person has their own version of the dream. The most widely used version of the American Dream is the desire to have the amount of money needed to do anything you want to do or want to have. My personal version of the American Dream includes wanting enough money to do or buy what I want, but it also includes being my own boss by owning my own company, and I want a loving family. But as I stated that is only my version of the American Dream.
The first part of my version of the American Dream is the desire to have enough money to do what I want and buy what I want. The first thing I would do if I achieved this part of my version of the American Dream is; I would take a trip to over seas and go to Ireland, Germany, Italy, China, and Japan. The second thing I would do if I achieve this part of my version of the American Dream is; I would find my self a good sized piece of land in an undeveloped area and make it my home, put my dream home on it, if it doesn’t have a lake I would have one made, and I would have a portion set aside for hunting. And the last thing I would do if I had the amount of money needed I would buy my two dream cars; a 1967 Shelby Mustang and a Nissan GTR. I would then modify each car and then build a quarter mile on a portion if the piece of land. The next thing I would do if I could live my version of the American Dream is that I would build my dream home. The house would have numerous bedrooms, a gym, a workshop, and a state of the art home office. The gym would not only include exercise equipment but also punching bags and a boxing ring. The work shop would have a place for me to work on the car that I own and a large variety of tools for me to work one the projects I would have to do.
The next part of my part of my version of the American Dream is being my own boss. I would want to not have to answer to anyone about my business actions. With that kind of power I would have the power to power to get involved I the business ventures that interested me. The type of business that I would own would either be a computer programming company or a video game company. The programming company would make virus protection, hacker proof software, and pretty much every kind of software needed to protect your computer from any possible cyber threat. The videogame company would make MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games), racing games, fighting games, and first person shooters. If possible I would own both companies because with MMORPG’s you have to worry about hackers, so I would be able to keep the players of my games safe from hackers. One of those two companies is part of my plan for my life even if I can’t achieve the rest of my version of the American Dream.
The final part of my part of my version of the American dream is to have a loving family. I would like two children and a loving wife. I want a boy for my first child and a girl for my second child. The reason I want he boy first is so he can be protective of the girl. And the reason I want a girl is so I can scare the crap out of a boy at the door because I have had five fathers of girls that I have dated scare the crap out of me before the first date and they always seemed to have a good time while they were doing it.
That is my version of the American Dream. It is not the generic version of just wanting to be filthy stinking rich. But I do want to have money but I also want to be my own boss and own my own company, and also have a loving family. Some may think that my version of the American Dream is madness. But if my version can’t be what I want it to be without it being madness then call me crazy.
